2. Sowing the SeedsThe Bottle Method (Recommended): Because the seeds are so small, mix 1 part seeds with about 4 parts of dry sand, ash, or fine manure. Poke holes in the cap of a plastic water bottle, fill it with the mixture, and gently shake it out to distribute the seeds evenly.Depth: Make shallow furrows about 1 cm deep (1/4 inch).Spacing: Row spacing should be about 30 cm (1 foot) apart. Cover the seeds with a very light layer of fine soil—if buried too deep, they will not sprout.3. Watering & ThinningInitial Watering: Mist or water the bed gently right after sowing. Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged until sprouts appear in 3–7 days.Thinning: One week after germination, when the seedlings grow a bit, thin them out. Leave 10 cm (4 inches) of space between each plant so they have enough room to grow large, bushy
